May 2004 was the first annual Wilderness trip. Since then many high school students have gotten a taste of what Colorado has to offer.
Getting away from the distractions of everyday life we are able to focus on what really matters...relationships. Through the venue of outdoor adventures our students are able to challenge themselves in ways they have never thought possible.
We strive to provide an opportunity that will impact your outlook on life. No matter where we go or what we do it is our goal to be a positive influence on those we interact with. Our small group sizes and personalized guiding techniques are the foundation for success. From there we combine our experience as mountain guides with your desire to explore the world which creates a powerful tool. With this tool we can influence, for the better, the lives of the people we interact with.
In doing so we all walk away from the experience ‘better’ than when we began.
The Difference
May 2007 was the first annual soccer tournament hosted by SaLT. 72 Peruvian boys and girls took part in this one day event. Our simple message was “Love your neighbors as yourself”. It is events like these that make our trips truly extraordinary.

June 14, 2008 approximately 300 Peruvians took part in our Mini World Cup.
People came out of the woodwork to receive a free soccer jersey and lunch. Luke Burnett shared with the kids our message of loving your neighbor as yourself, and just how much God loves each and every one of them. It was an amazing experience.
This 42 sec video shows scenes from the World Cup in 07 & 08. It was an amazing way to end two weeks of mountain climbing in the Andes.
