All scenes in this video are taken within five miles of the small town Crested Butte Colorado.  Six minutes from your hotel to the best backcountry skiing terrain in Colorado.

Picture this day:

7:30- Wake up & get breakfast

8:30- Gear up & jump in the truck.

8:40- Drive to the start of the trail

8:46- Arrive at the trail, & start skinning uphill. The rest of the day: Skiing              lap after lap of deep powder

5:30- Ski down to the truck

5:36- Arrive back to town & head straight for the hot-tub

7:00- Sit down to a hot dinner that will charge your batteries for another day in paradise. 

Here in Colorado you can ski the many resorts and have a winter vacation just like everyone else.  Or you can tap into the amazing adventure of backcountry skiing. 

Its popularity is growing quickly as people realize just how good it is. 

“I would rather ski one long deep powder run in the backcountry than spend an entire day at a resort” is a common expression among enthusiast.  Other common sayings are: “this powder is blower dude” “sick turns bro” and “is it recording? cause here I come.” 

Of course learning the interesting vernacular is not a prerequisite but the desire to have an amazing time is.
