began his guiding career in 2001 in Colorado, where he led white-water rafting, backpacking, and rock climbing trips. He graduated from Purdue with a Management Degree, but hopes to never put it to use while wearing a suit & tie.
His interest in outdoor recreation continues to evolve. From the humble beginnings of the climbing gym in Indianapolis & rappelling from the trees in the front yard to now climbing technical 20,000’+ glaciated peaks in foreign countries. Mark is also passionate about giving back to the communities he visits. Mountains & missions are what make life extraordinary.
Mark’s other interests include Nordic skiing, uphill ski racing, car camping and taking people to places that are far removed from the comfort zone of their living room couch.
